Kenneth worked collaboratively with the clients in their dream to create a house as an exploration of the ideas and spirit behind the “Bay First Tradition”, the earliest school of Arts and Crafts architects in the San Francisco area. The design process was inspired by the work of Greene and Greene, Ernest Coxhead and writings of author, Charles Keeler, a contemporary of Bernard Maybeck. The finished house embodies a gentle coexistence with a delicate site, its several riparian zones and a magnificent California live oak tree. The house was designed by Kenneth in collaboration with Chrome Architecture.
